Join us for a special Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday, February 25th at 12-1pm. The Advisory Committee is MassFiscal's foundation--a coalition of people concerned about fiscally responsible, accountable government.
At the February lunch, members of the staff will outline the Alliance's 2016 plans. The ensuing discussion among members and staff will help shape the direction our work takes in the coming year.
Membership in the Advisory Committee is a benefit for donors of more than $1,000 per year, or $500 for those under 35. Membership includes admission to MassFiscal's Speaker Series, which promotes ideas for effective, accountable government by bringing leading political thinkers from around the country to our state. The series has hosted an impressive lineup, including presidential candidates Carly Fiorina and Gov. John Kasich; Congressmen Cathy McMorris-Rogers, Elise Stefanik, Peter Roskam, and Paul Ryan, elected Speaker just weeks after his appearance at MassFiscal; Senators Ron Johnson and Kelly Ayotte; and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Our next speaker will be Congressman Joe Heck (R-Nevada), who is a physician and veteran, on March 23rd in Boston.
