MassFiscal's Founder, Rick Green, announced he's running for Congress, in a race for the third congressional district. Congressman Niki Tsongas is retiring at the end of this term, creating a great opportunity for a new candidate with fresh ideas.
 
A year ago today, we witnessed a fundamental shift in national politics. Against the expectations of the political elites, the Republican party won the presidency and both chambers of Congress.
 
The shift means now is a great opportunity for Rick to throw his hat in the ring.
 
Rick, a fiscal hawk, a conservative and the founder and CEO of 1A Auto, Inc., grew up in the district. He and Maggie own a home in the third, and their kids go to school there. He is uniquely qualified to represent the people of the district in Congress.
 
The next year will be full of new experiences and opportunities for Rick, as he meets the voters and delivers his message of economic opportunity, security, and freedom. The Board of Directors and Staff of MassFiscal wish him the very best as his campaign moves forward.
