As a general rule, Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance does not accept contributions from local, state or federal governments, foreign nationals, academic institutions, unions, partisan political organizations and candidates seeking partisan public office. Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance does not solicit contributions for the stated purpose of attempting to influence the selection, nomination, election or appointment of any person to any federal, state or local public office or to an office in a political organization. General contributions to Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance are not required to be publicly disclosed. The IRS does not allow contributions to Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance to be deducted as a charitable contribution or as a business expense for federal income tax purposes.
