Activists are currently mulling whether they should work toward a 2016 ballot question about raising the state's cap on expanding charter schools. Currently, the Commonwealth has a limit of 120 charter schools, even though thousands of students and parents from western Massachusetts to Cape Cod have expressed strong interest in taking advantage of the more flexible educational opportunities charter schools so often provide.
Governor Baker has indicated he would be supportive, and MassFiscal is definitely in favor, too, but we want to know what you think. If you also want to see a question about raising the charter schools cap placed on the 2016 ballot, please sign up below!
