As positive cases of Coronavirus continue to decline in Massachusetts, legislative leaders have wasted no time getting back to their old tricks.

"Under Speaker DeLeo’s tax proposal, the state’s 24 cent fuel tax would increase to 29 cents per gallon for gasoline, which is a 20 percent increase, and diesel fuel would increase by 9 cents to 33 cents, which is a 38 percent increase."

The Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance mailed a letter to every state lawmaker and elected municipal official in Massachusetts regarding the proposed Transportation and Climate Initiative (TCI) gasoline tax.
