The Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance issued a scathing rebuke of Governor Maura Healey, Senate President Karen Spilka, and House Speaker Ron Mariano as large numbers of criminal defendants, including some charged with serious violent offenses, are being released due to the Commonwealth’s failure to adequately deal with the indigent defendants issue.
