The Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance is a growing organization, and we are very excited to share our latest update.
Today is Jason Crosby’s first day! Jason joins the team as our new Media Director, and he is excited to help our messaging reach more people! Please watch Jason’s welcome video below.
MassFiscal is always striving to adopt new ways to optimize our outreach so more hardworking taxpayers can stay up to speed on how their tax dollars are being spent and how elected officials are legislating. We will continue to engage traditional media, however, Jason will help us reach more people through various forms of social media and edited content for your computer and smartphone screens. More and more people are getting their news through short videos, and MassFiscal is going where people are going to deliver our message. In the future, you’ll see more videos and new content.
Jason brings a wealth of experience to the role, with an impressive 30-year career spanning broadcast media and politics.
Jason’s career began at the young age of 19, when he secured his first radio job at WBET/1460AM & WCAV/97.7FM in Brockton. There, he excelled as a talk show producer, news and sports reporter, and anchor. In 2002, he transitioned to television, where he worked for two decades as a news videographer and editor for renowned stations including WLNE, WLVI, WCVB, and WBZ.
In addition to his media expertise, Jason has a deep passion for politics and public service. He played a pivotal role in the historic 55-vote upset victory of the late Bill Carpenter’s mayoral campaign in Brockton. In 2014, Jason was instrumental in producing videos for the successful “Yes on 1” ballot campaign, which repealed the automatic gas tax increase, saving Massachusetts taxpayers billions of dollars.
Jason’s relationship with MassFiscal began in 2015, when we teamed up to start producing engaging videos and radio ads to hold elected officials accountable. If you follow us on social media, you’ve definitely seen his work before. His creativity and commitment to fiscal responsibility align perfectly with MassFiscal’s mission.
Jason’s extensive media experience and his proven track record in political advocacy make him a tremendous asset to our team. We are excited to see how his talents will amplify our efforts to inform and engage taxpayers across the Commonwealth.
